Mr. Russell Levi Allison, age 94. Mr. Allison passed away Friday, July 06, 2012.
Services will be held 2:00 pm Monday July 9, 2012 from the funeral home chapel with Chris Anderson officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Allison was born on December 23, 1917 to the late Jim and Ella Kanady Allison. He was a WWII Army veteran and worked for Black Grading Company for over 25 years, where he was a superintendent. He lived in White County from 1988 to 2003 and was a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Bell Neal Allison; brothers Harold Allison, Loyd Allison, Delmar Allison and Derral Allison; sisters Annie Lou Harris, Beulah Mae Palmer, and Oveline Barrow.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law Gail and Allen West, Jefferson; sons and daughters-in-law Kenneth and Linda Allison, Cedartown, Buddy and Becky Allison, Powder Springs, Dale and Dianne Allison, Flowery Branch, David and Andrea Allison, Buford; and son Bobby Allison, Buford; 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
The family will receive friends Sunday July 8, 2012 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
